SUUNTO Cobra & SK-7 with Quick Release

SUUNTO COBRA
Suunto Cobra is an air-integrated console-mounted dive computer that combines versatile features with a user-friendly design. Widely compatible with a range of Suunto dive i nstruments, it’s a great device around which to build your perfect console.

Air integration
Suunto Cobra monitors and displays your tank pressure, tracks your rate of air consumption, and continuously calculates your remaining air time. It also provides visual and audible alarms for depth and pressure and warns you when you're running low on air.
Easy-to-read display
Though lightweight and small, Suunto Cobra features a large screen and high-definition electro-luminescent display, which can be adjusted to be on from 5 to 30 seconds and lights up automatically whenever an important alarm is activated
Multi-mode versatility
With its Nitrox, Air, and Gauge modes, Suunto Cobra delivers everything you need to maximize bottom time and make the most of every dive. When using enriched air, Suunto Cobra can be programmed for nitrox mixtures between 21% and 50% oxygen. You can also adjust oxygen partial pressure between 1.2 and 1.6 bar. In Gauge mode, it can also be used as a depth gauge and timer with profile memory.
Flexible decompression
Using the Suunto RGBM algorithm, Suunto Cobra enables continuous decompression for optimal ascent time. The clear electro-luminescent backlight is activated automatically when dive alarms are given, making the dive parameters clearly visible and legible.
Wide compatibility
Suunto Cobra is compatible with a range of other Suunto products to complement its functionality. The Suunto SK7 compass, with a tilt potential of up to 30 degrees, can be added to the console for easy-to-read navigational information, and Suunto Quick Release allows you to connect the cylinder pressure gauge to the regulator pressure port with one quick and easy move.
Plan and review
You can test upcoming dives and view no-decompression and decompression time data for different depths before getting in the water with the built-in dive simulator. When the dive is over, use optional Suunto Dive Manager PC software to transfer your dive data to your computer for further analysis and to maintain a detailed logbook featuring graphical representation of all your dives.
SUUNTO SK-7 Dive Compass
The high-quality liquid filled Suunto SK-7 has set a new standard for dive compasses. The device features 2-3 times larger tilt potential than in conventional diving compasses and provides easy-to-read numerals.
The superior SK-7 has an exceptional tilt potential of +/-30 degrees, which is 2 or 3 times larger than in conventional diving compasses. The firm-grip bezel with a ratchet at every fifth degree is specially designed to prevent sand and dirt contamination, allowing smooth turning in all conditions. The compass is available in wrist, console, and hose-mounted models.
The SK-7 can also be fitted on the Suunto Cobra dive computer. It has easy-to-read numerals on a phosphorescent compass card and a large side-reading window.
By adding the SK-7 compass to different Suunto Combo consoles, you can create a personal console that meets your specific needs. For example, CB-double can be made by adding the SK-7/DS compass to the reverse side of the CB-One. Or you can configure your CB-one console to a CB-Two by adding an SK-7 compass on top. If you add the SK-7/DS compass on to the reverse side of the CB-Two In Line, you get a CB-Double in Line. And CB-Three In Line console is made by adding a SK-7 compass on top of a Two In Line console.
Compass Balancing
The horizontal and vertical components of the earth's magnetic field vary considerably in different locations. For this reason Suunto compasses are balanced for 5 different zones. If the compass is used in an adjacent balancing zone, many compass pointers will tilt only slightly. However, the farther a compass is used from its correct zone, the more its pointer tilts. In extreme cases, the pointer will stick. For this reason, it is extremely important to know in which country a compass will be used.
